Caroline McGaffin is a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, registered with the Association of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists.  She trained at the Anna Freud Centre continuing to work and teach there until 2005 when she moved to Ayrshire to take up a Consultant Post in CAMHS until retirement in 2021. She continues to work with parents and children in her private practice and to provide supervision and consultations to those working with children in care.

Caroline recently qualified as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist training with the North of England Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She is registered to practice with the British Psychoanalytic Council and is a member of the Scottish Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists.
