Judith Smith is a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council.  Judith has over thirty years of experience working in the NHS in mental health, ranging from adolescents through to adults and older age adults. She worked in the regional department for Psychotherapy in Newcastle in the NHS and now works in private practice in Cumbria. Judith’s particular areas of experience and interest are with adult survivors of childhood trauma, working with young people with developmental difficulties such as self harm, body image and difficulties in progressing through transitional periods.  She also works with adults who experience difficulties in emotional wellbeing and relationships.
